Few people would have expected to see the Manchester Originals winless after playing three matches in the Hundred 2022 but that is exactly what has happened. Their next match is against Welsh Fire, the other winless team so far this season.

Manchester Originals scored 189 in the previous match and still ended up on the losing side! They came up against an absolutely brilliant Dawid Malan and could not really do much about it. If you take the positives from that match, then it is clear that the Manchester Originals are loaded in the batting department. Buttler and Salt are playing well, Russell showed signs of form in the previous match, and adding Stubbs gives the team an excellent option against spin as well. Laurie Evans and Will Madsen ensure that the Manchester Originals have enough batting depth to be able to attack without really worrying about being bowled out. The bowling lineup is a definite concern, though. Sean Abbott has been going for well over 2 runs a ball on average this season, Fred Klaassen has been expensive, and Matt Parkinson has struggled to keep the runs down as well.

Welsh Fire failed to chase down 130 in the previous match and that would have really dented their confidence. Runs have not been easy to come by for Welsh Fire this season and that let them down once more in a match that they really should have won. Joe Clarke got out for a duck, Tom Banton and Sam Hain got some runs, but David Miller played perhaps one of the strangest innings we have seen this season. He scored 35 not out of 30 and was perhaps the pivotal reason why Welsh Fire lost its match. Adam Zampa is the only bowler that has been consistently been able to ask some tough questions with the rest of the lineup average at best. David Payne, Dwaine Pretorious, and George Scrimshaw are not going to worry the Manchester Originals batters.

The weather forecast for this match is not the greatest and there is a fair bit of rain expected. We could have a truncated game or even one that is completely rained-out. If we do get a chance to see some cricket, though, we expect a lot of runs to be scored.

Another day and another well contested match in the Hundred Men's Competition 2022 and things are looking all set for a cracking next round. Almost all sides have got enough time in the middle to get their combinations sorted and so now be well equipped to take on the respective competition going forward.

Manchester Originals have had a rather surprising tournament up until now as despite having some of the best exponents of T20 cricket, they have struggled to rack up wins consistently. With two losses from two matches already, they are placed seventh on the points table and another loss here might well push them to the eighth. They, however, have a decent side on-paper and would want to play to its potential. They will want their stars to step up and if that happens, the Rockets will have their work cut out.

Trent Rockets may not have been as good as the Spirits have been, they have certainly done an excellent job to make use of the resources they have. Up until now in the tournament, they have played two and won both of those. They are placed at the third spot on the ladder and another win here might well push them to the top. Considering that they have a pretty good side on paper, all they'll need to do is to play to their potential and if they are able to do that, betting them could prove to be incredibly difficult.

Vitality T-20 Blast 2021 is going to be started from Today on 9th June When Lancashire Side will take on Derbyshire at Historical Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. Lancashire was the finalist in the previous season of Vitality Blast in 2020 and Derbyshire Finishes at 6th Place in the Group Stages. 

Lancashire has one of the strongest teams in the T20 Blast 2021 this season. Jos Buttler will be available for the first six matches of the season, which is a huge bonus. Buttler scored his first T20 century earlier in the IPL and is going to be integral to the batting lineup. Buttler is also going to have Liam Livingstone, Alex Davies, Steven Croft, Dane Vilas, and Finn Allen. The real excitement is going to be around Finn Allen. He was picked by RCB as a replacement but did not play a game. He dominated the Super Smash this season with some powerful hitting. Saqib Mahmood is impressed in the PSL and will lead the bowling with support from Matt Parkinson and Richard Gleeson. The role of the all-rounders in the bowling unit is going to be crucial.

Derbyshire was woeful in the previous season of the Blast. They won fewer matches than anyone else in the entire tournament. Not a single bowler for Derbyshire took more than two wickets in a match, not a single bowler took a total of more than four in the entire campaign. Derbyshire has brought in Ben McDermott as an overseas player and he is a very exciting addition. PITCH CONDITION

A Score of 170-180 will be a must as Traditionally it's a good batting wicket to bat on and Teams Prefer to chase down scores in T-20 nowadays.
