After beginning their campaign on a losing note, the Knight Riders have made a strong comeback as they won their last 2 matches and have climbed to the 3rd spot on the points table.The win in their latest match played against the defending champions, the Gujarat Titans, will go a long way to boost their confidence. We are not looking past Brook just yet, but there is no doubt he needs to perform. Aiden Markram, who was out for a duck in his first game of the season, has managed to get some runs under his belt and will be looking to put up another big score here, while Heinrich Klaasen will play the role of a finisher. SRH has a strong pace attack consisting of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, and T Natarajan, and they will be hoping to put up a good show against the in-form batsmen of KKR.

Tim Southee and Umesh Yadav has the knack of picking up wickets earlier and KKR would love that.

The two teams met in the Qualifier 2 of the 2018 IPL where the SRH triumphed over KKR to make it set up a final meeting with CSK. Batting first they put on a decent total of 174/7 which is always a good score in a knockout game. KKR in reply managed 160 runs with Chris Lynn top scoring with 48.

Just a few days before their qualifier game, the two sides met in the league stage with Kolkata Knight Riders claiming a five-wicket win. KKR knocked out SRH in the 2017 IPL with a five-wicket win in the eliminator contest in the rain-marred game. SRH scored 128/7 in the first innings, and KKR in reply lost three quick wickets before Gautam Gambhir steadied their ship.
