Our Prediction
-
Trinbago Knight Riders have one of the best bowling lineups in this Tournament.
-
Barbados Royals have failed to get the momentum in this tournament as they have won only 2 matches till now.
-
Both teams haven't been best in the batting department as they are prone to major Batting Collapses.
This next match is going to be played between the Barbados Royals and the Trinbago Knight Riders at Warner Park. The Royals are at the bottom place with just two wins from seven matches so far while the Trinbago Knight Riders have four wins from their seven matches and are currently in second place. The Barbados Royals kept their playoff qualification hopes alive as they beat the Guyana Amazon Warriors with ease in their previous match. Useful contributions from Kyle Mayers, Johnson Charles, Glenn Phillips, and Jason Holder ensured that the Barbados Royals were able to get to a healthy total. Mohammad Amir made a comeback into the team for the Royals but we are not sure if he is still at his best. He has been ineffective at picking up wickets in the powerplay. Raymon Riefer has easily been their best bowler and is a good candidate for being their Top Bowler. Nyeem young is another one who is in great wicket-taking form.
Two wins in the previous two matches have helped the Trinbago Knight riders recover after a slow start to CPL 2021. The biggest problem has been with the batting and while there has been some improvement in the previous two matches, a lot of work needs to be done. Lendl Simmons and Kieron Pollard both have scored runs in recent matches while Tim Seifert has been brilliant in the lower order. The bowling, on the other hand, has been very good. Sunil Narine and Akeal Hossain have played all the matches and bowled their full quota of overs in each. They are both giving away runs at an economy rate of just 4.39, an incredible feat in T20 cricket. The inclusion of Ali Khan will certainly help the bowling lineup as he was very impressive in the previous Match.
