In Today's Second Match, Sunrisers Hyderabad will square off against Punjab Kings at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Punjab Kings are the Unluckiest side this season losing close matches due to negligence in the batting department in the death overs while chasing as they have done in the previous match against Rajasthan. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal have been in prime form in the opening slot. This pair is also the most successful opening pair this year compiling most runs. Debutant Markram has shown his class in his opening match but failed to finish off well. Pooran has to contribute in the batting department as he hasn't performed to his level till now. Deepak Hooda and Fabian Allen make a powerful lower-middle order for the side. The Kings have been guilty of giving away too many runs at the death, but the way Mohammad Shami and Arshdeep Singh performed in the previous match should inspire a lot of confidence. Ravi Bishnoi may get a chance to play as Rashid was expensive in the previous match against Rajasthan.
Sunrisers Hyderabad is at the bottom of the Points Table and has failed to play according to their Potential. The team looks overdependent on Warner and Williamson for runs scoring. If Warner gets out early the whole team falls like a pack of cards. Bairstow has been a major missing for the side at the top of the order. Manish Pandey is the most experienced Indian player in the lineup but hasn't performed well yet for the side and he has to step up if Hyderabad has any chance against Punjab. Kedar Jadhav has also been disappointing. Samad has shown glimpses of the power-hitting ability he possesses. If Batsman can put runs on the board for the side Sunrisers Hyderabad has the ability to defend totals as they have Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the top of the order alongside Sandeep and Khalil. Rashid Khan will hold the key for the side. Jason Holder is also a capable all-rounder for the side. Overall Bolwing looks decent for the side.

The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first. Sharjah is a small ground and defending targets can be very difficult. We are sure that whoever wins the toss is going to want to know exactly what the target is ahead of his team.

There is no threat of rain for this match as can be expected in the desert! The pitch is expected to be very good for batting with a nice amount of bounce and carry. The small boundaries make Sharjah a six-hitting paradise. A high Scoring Encounter is on the cards for sure.
