Our Prediction
-
Jamaica Tallawahs seems to be over-dependent on Rusell and Carlos Braithwaite.
-
St. Kitts and Nevis have a stronger batting line-up with the likes of Evin Lewis, Rutherford and Fabian Allen in good form.
-
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have done a better job in the tournament thus far and will be more confident of the two sides.
The upcoming match in the tournament is to be played between Jamaica Tallawahs and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at Warner Park, both teams have been struggling of late. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots had a terrific run in their first half of the season, but they have gotten off to the worst possible start in the second half. After a string of five back to back wins, they have managed to register two consecutive losses. Lewis and Thomas make a strong opening pair with Gayle coming at 3. Asif Ali hasn't been got going in this tournament. Rutherford has been the most consistent batter for St. Kitts playing match-winning innings. Cotrell and Nasim Shah have been impressive with the ball in the pace attack. DJBravo is also very effective in death overs. Fawad Ahmad and Fabian Allen will be the Spin Twins for St Kitts.
Jamaica Tallawahs suffered yet another loss in the competition and with that loss, they have now slipped to the fifth position on the points table. Up until now, they have managed to win just two matches with both of those wins coming in the early part of the competition. Kennar Lewis played well in the initial matches but failed to perform regularly. Haider Ali Form has been disappointing. Rovamn Powell and Jason Mohammad have to step up to fill the gap in the middle order. Jamaica seems to be over-reliant on Russell and Braithwaite which is not a good sign. Miguel Pretorious has done well with the ball picking up wickets alongside Permaul. The inclusion of Imad Wasim is a good decision as he has performed equally well with both Bat and Ball.
