In the last few matches, the surfaces at all three venues have quickened up under lights. Much of that can be attributed to dew, which is beginning to have an increasingly pronounced impact with every passing game. We saw a bit of fresh grass on the surface in the last match and it could be the case yet again. While the surface will not be a belter by any stretch of the imagination, the batsmen once set will enjoy batting here.
TOSS PREDICTION
Getting set is going to be of high importance on this surface. As much important will be to pace the innings that knowing what to score will aid tremendously in that aspect. Since this is a day game, dew will not have any impact whatsoever in this game. We believe the surface will tend to get a bit slower in the second innings and hitting big shots will be difficult. The captain winning the toss will want to bat first.
