The Nellai Royal Kings came back strongly after their loss in the opening match to chase down a tough total against the Chepauk Super Gillies. The IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans have not yet won a single match in TNPL 2021 and will need to get their act together quickly. Baba Aparajith and Pradosh Ranjan Paul played responsibly to score the fifties in their previous outing and helped the Nellai Royal Kings win their match against the Chepauk Super Gillies. Sanjay Yadav also showed just how effective he can be with the bat as he smashed 25 from 14 balls. Baba Inderjith has already played a good knock in TNPL 2021 as well and so the Nellai Royal Kings seem like they have a good batting setup at the moment.
The IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans have not found the rhythm in the batting that they need. Their top-order has been struggling for runs and there just does not seem to be enough power in the batting lineup. M Mohammad is a good all-rounder and adds balance to the side. We think he may be batting a bit too low down the order and could actually look to come up and influence the game a bit more with his power batting. Aswin Crist, S Mohan Prasath, and M Mohammad form a decent bowling lineup.
