Finally, the wait for the Second phase of IPL 2021 has come to an end, as after the post Covid delay we are starting the second phase of IPL 2021 at UAE. In the Opening encounter, Arch Rivals Mumbai Indians will face off against Chennai Super Kings at Dubai International Stadium. Chennai Super Kings have started this season with a bang with players like Faf Du Plessis and Gaikwad performing at the Top of the Order. Moeen Ali has been in top form for the Kings with both bat and ball. Suresh Raina will certainly add to the firepower. Dj Bravo has also been a seasoned campaigner for the side alongside Ravindra Jadeja. Bowling Line up will be lead by Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur and Ngidi. Ravindra Jadeja has been good with the ball in the previous season picking up wickets. The experience of Dwayne Bravo will certainly come into play as Sam Curran will not be available for a few matches.
Mumbai Indians are a Champion Side and have played well in this Tournament soo far. Quinton De Kock and Rohit Sharma have been impressive at the top of the order. Middle Order looks strong with the presence of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Both Being in terrific form this year. Keiron Pollard, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya make a dangerous AllRound Trio. Bowling has been up to the mark for the Indians with Bumrah and Boult leading the Pace Battery attack. Rahul Chahar was among the wickets in the initial phase and would like to continue where he left. Krunal Pandya was also economical with the ball helping Chahar to build the pressure on the Batsman. Mumbai Indians looks like a perfectly balanced team in my opinion and their previous win against the Kings will certainly boost their confidence.
