In Today's Double Header In PSL 2021, the first game will be played between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Colin Munro and Usman Khawaja did not leave anything for any other player to do in the last match but that is not always going to be the case. The middle-order of Islamabad United is not the strongest and can be put under pressure. Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan have to step up to consolidate the middle order. The emergence of Mohammad Wasim Jr as a bowling talent had added a lot of depth to the team. Hasan Ali will be missing today's game due to his family commitments which might be an issue for the side. Shadab Khan and Mohd. Musa also bowled brilliantly in the previous Match.
The Lahore Qalandars have managed to come back from the dead and win matches for two matches in succession now! That has largely been down to some brilliant performers from James Faulkner, Tim David, Ben Dunk, and Rashid Khan. Top Order looks compact with Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar both capable of playing Match Winning Innings with the latter in good Touch. Middle Order also looks strong with Hafeez, Dunk and Rohail Nazir. The lower Middle order of Lahore is also very Dangerous with Tim David, Faulkner and Rashid Khan all capable of hitting long sixes. Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan, and James Faulkner form very lethal bowling which would not be easy for teams to get away. In all Lahore Qalandars have a very balanced side that can beat any team in the Tournament.
PITCH REPORT
The conditions in Abu Dhabi are very hot. The start times have been delayed to try and make the playing conditions a bit more comfortable for the players but they will still challenge everyone. The pitch was very slow and difficult to score on in the first match. The Average Score is 150+ on this venue batting first.

Every single team that has won the toss has opted to field first in PSL 2021. While this may change if the wickets in Abu Dhabi get slower, for the time being, it appears as if fielding first is the preferred strategy for all PSL teams.
