Zimbabwe tour of South Africa: South Africa Clinch series by 2-0

Thursday (4th October) South Africa won by 120 runs and sealed the series by 2-0 against Zimbabwe on Wednesday.

Zimbabwe all out for just 78 in the second ODI while chasing the average total of 199. against African bowling attack. An all-around performance from Dale Steyn, he rescued Zimbabwe with the bat and he started the rot with the ball also. Tahir finished with 6 for 24 in which Peter moor, Brandon Mavuta, and Sean Williams were out in 3 successive deliveries. Steyn returns to ODI cricket with 2 wickets today and a brilliant fifty (60 )came from his bat too.

After winning the toss South Africa opted to bat first and put defendable runs on the board because the pitch was good for bowling and it will be more difficult while chasing. again a flop show from South Africa openers and they lose their 1st wicket in the second over, deal agar scored only 4 runs and gave his wicket to Chatara. Heinrich Klaasen, who impressed in the first ODI made only 1 run in 13 balls.

while chasing, Zimbabwe Lose early wickets, there main players Taylor was trapped in front in the 14th over by Tahir. Masakadza soon followed him back to the pavilion after he fell to Lungi Ngidi, they were playing their 200th ODI but they both didn't do well.

Pitch misbehaved all day and became particularly when Dale Steyn opened the bowling under lights, which made the chase very difficult. Imran Tahir became the 4th South African bowler to take a hat-trick in ODI.

 South Africa have gained an unassailable 2-0 series lead, with one game to play. In the 3rd ODI Zimbabwe will look for a consolation win
