Shoaib Malik leads Pakistan to win a Thriller in Abu Dhabi

Friday(21st September), Pakistan win a thriller match in Abu Dhabi by 3 wickets, Shoaib Malik leads Pakistan.

It is the first game in this Asia Cup - close game, Super four 2nd match between Pakistan and Afghanistan became the last over thriller match. Both teams were at the equal stage at one time in the last two overs Pakistan were required 18 runs, Second last over bowled by Afghanistan performer Rashid Khan and he gave 8 runs in that over, after that in the last over 10 runs were required which was being bowled by Afghanistan right arm fast bowler Aftab, but Pakistan Batsman Shoaib Mallik took only 3 deliveries to chase the total.

Amazing cricket from both teams, Afghanistan was not the favourites but they showed that they can defeat any team.

After winning the toss Afghanistan skipper Afghan Ashgar chose to bat first, and the pitch was good for batting they made 256 for 7 in 50 overs. An outstanding inning from skipper Ashgar of 67 runs in just 56 balls and 5 sixes came from his bat. But the main heroic inning came from Shahidi who made 52 runs in the previous match and now scored 97 runs and remains not out.

While chasing Pakistan lose their first wicket in the first over Fakhar Zaman again out on 0 which was being bowled by Mujeeb he couldn't understand the ball and gave his wicket as LBW.but after that Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq put up a 154-run stand for the second wicket before Rashid Khan picked three quick wickets.

Shoaib Mallik became the man of the match.

Tomorrow no game, on 23rd India will face Pakistan in the 3rd match of super four in Dubai stadium.
