Rohit Smashes fifity , India defeat pakistan by 8 wickets

India defeats Pakistan by 8 wickets in the 5th match of Asia cup 2018.

Indian openers made 163 target so easy as they chase the total in 29th over with the only loss of two wickets. Rohit Sharma scored 59 runs in 39 balls, 3 sixes and six 4s came from his bat. Shikhar Dhawan scored 46 runs in 54 balls.

Opting to bat, Pakistan could manage only 162 on the board which India chased down with 21 overs to spare. Pakistani openers Fakhar Zaman{2} and Imam{0}  didn't do well. pakistan played 11 dot balls in first two overs which forced their players to play some aggressive shot but they chose the wrong bowler bhuvi, Bhuvaneswar didn't miss the chance he dismissed both the openers. After that Pakistan was batting well as their middle-order batsman Shoaib Mallik and Babar Azam made a partnership of 82 runs.

chinaman Kuldeep broke that partnership and after that Pakistan was struggling to make runs on the board.

Indian allrounder Hardik Pandya stretchered off the field due to injury. but Indian part-time bowler Kedar Jadhav was bowling so well and he took 3 wickets.

while chasing Rohit made 50 runs and he smashed 19 runs in one over of Usman Khan.it was an easy chase for them after two wickets rayudu and Karthik chased the target easily.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar became a man of the match.

Thursday, Afghanistan will face Bangladesh in the 6th match.
