
Monday (1st October)- ICC announced Rashid khan number 1 allrounder in ODI rankings on Sunday 30th October.
Rashid Khan, who ended the Asia cup 2018 as the highest wicket taker with 10 wickets from five games at an average of 17.20 in addition to the 87 runs he scored at an average of 43.50 which included a match-winning unbeaten 57 against Bangladesh., has climbed six placed to be ranked no. 1 on the all-rounder charts. Rashid Khan has taken place of Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan who was on no. 1 position but after Asia cup 2018 performance Rashid displaced him. Mohammad Nabi climbed up one spot to reach the third position. Mitchell Santner and Mohammad Hafeez complete the top five in the list.
Rashid became the first the first player who reached the no.1 position in any ICC rankings.
In bowlers list, Rashid retained his position on no.2 whereas Indian duo of Jaspreet and chinaman Kuldeep Yadav take the 1st and 3rd position respectively.
In the Batting list, India opener Rohit Sharma who scored 317 runs at an average of 105.66 reached the second spot in ICC batting rankings.whereas his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan climbed one position and reached no.5th position behind David Warner.
Nothing changed in teams Ranking only Pakistan and Sri Lanka lost 3 ranking points each whereas Afghanistan gained 5 points after a tremendous performance
