Pakistan Batsman Ahmed Shehzad Banned by Pakistan Cricket Board for 4 Months due to failing in Dope test.

PCB said -''Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad has tested positive for a banned substance and will be charged later on Tuesday.“ They tweeted - ''Independent Review Board Report on doping case has been received by PCB. Cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has tested positive for a banned substance. PCB will issue charge sheet today''.

Ahmed Shehzad also admitted that he violated the PCB's rules. He also said through his twitter account that ''My doping case verdict is acceptable to me. I accept the sanction handed out by PCB. I inadvertently consumed a medicine which as an experienced cricketer I should have refrained from. I am fully committed to returning to cricket as soon as my ban is over.''

Shehzad played for his country in last month's Twenty20 series in Scotland, where he scored a combined 38 runs as the visitors won both games.

Since making his Test debut in 2013, he has scored 983 runs in 13 matches.
